Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature hairstyle and her pumped up personality, explains easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell is also a part of some of New York's top restaurants, has learned about Italian food, its culture and traditions and has competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. Following her graduation with an English and Communication degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the restaurant business by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America. I was awed by every minute during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I could not be more educated or accomplished in my studies. After graduation, Burrell spent one year studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, an Michelin-starred restaurant. In Italy she developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It made a huge effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps kids who have challenges. She travels frequently around the nation in her capacity as both a mentor and guest speaker where she discusses her career and love of cooking. Anne has, through her whole experience in the kitchen, has declared that it's an honor to be in a position to share this passion for life with others.
