Jen Carfagno
Jennifer
"Jen" Carfagno (19 July 1976) is a American TV weather analyst. She
is employed by The Weather Channel (TWC) and hosts AMHQ every weekday from 6-9
AM. Carfagno was an Pennsylvania born, and earned a bachelor's degree in meteorology
in 1998. While at Penn State, Carfagno worked as an intern at The Weather
Channel and was recruited by the company shortly afterward to be an official
meteorologist full-time. She worked as an apprentice meteorologist for The
Weather Channel, spending time in front on the camera on weekends. From 2013 to
2016, Carfagno and Alex Wallace anchored Weather Center Live on Thursdays and
Fridays in the early hours and weekend mornings. Carfagno's Twitter account
shows she has over 993,000 followers on April 20, 2018. The page also lists an
active level of around 21,300 tweets. Perkiomen Valley High School was her
school. Additionally, she was a lifeguard at the school's pool. In 1998 she
completed her degree at Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in
meteorology. Jen interned at TWC during her final year of graduation.
