BARBARA Ruckle (Heck). Bastian Ruckle is the daughter of Margaret Embury and Bastian Ruckle was born in Ballingrane in 1734. She was married to Paul Heck 1760 in Ireland. The couple had seven children who survived to the age of 4.

The subject of the biography typically an individual who has had an important role in the things that have left a lasting impact on society, or who has come up with unique ideas and proposals, that are recorded in a certain manner. Barbara Heck did not leave writings or letters. Even the proof of the date of her wedding was secondary. Through the entirety of her adulthood it is not possible to find evidence from the primary sources which can be used to determine her intentions and actions. Despite this, she is thought of as a hero throughout the story of Methodism. The biographer must define the myth, explain the meaning and then describe the person whom is honored within.

Abel Stevens was a Methodist scholar, who published his work in 1866. Barbara Heck has taken the top spot in the New World's ecclesiastical lists in the wake of Methodism. Her accomplishments will be largely due to the creation of her most precious name made from the story of the major cause with which her memory is forever identified more than from the history of her personal life. Barbara Heck was involved fortuitously with the beginning of Methodism in the United States and Canada and her fame rests in the natural characteristic of a very successful movement or institution to highlight its early days in order to strengthen the sense of tradition as well as continuity with its past.
