Paula Faris

Paula Faris is an American journalist who formerly worked as an anchor for television at ABC News. Her tenures as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host on The View (2015-2018) are very well-known. Prior to that, she was co-anchoring World News Now and America This Morning. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to limited TV opportunities she was employed in radio sales. After one year working as a production assistant with WKEF/WRGT. She was then capable of reporting and anchoring periodically. She was the weekend anchor at WCPO TV in Cincinnati as well as the anchor for weekdays for WCPO TV in Cincinnati between 2002 and 2005. The contract was canceled and she became a reporter as well as an anchor for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from November 2005 through December 2011. In December 2011 she was appointed by ABC News, the news division of ABC. She joined the network for its World News Now and America This Morning on January 2, 2012. She also appeared on Good Morning America's fill-in programme, Good Morning America, starting on January 2, 2012. She was then promoted to a New York-based reporter for all ABC News programs. She hosted America This Morning and World News Now's final show on January 22, 2013. Her debut was on Good Morning America Weekend as co-anchor on September 9, 2014. The move came shortly after Bianna Golodryga moved to Yahoo! News. News. The show announced on August 3 on the 3rd of August, 2016, that she had been renewed for for the 20th season. Season 21 also got renewed thanks to the co-hosting role. She was the most prominent during the 22nd and 21st seasons of the show.
